We have an ever changing draught cask beer collection, coupled with a range of keg beers. Our current selection is listed from the live link at the top of the page, or from here. 

All cask beers are served from gravity (in other words, straight from the cask).

We always serve a lager as part of our keg range. This may come in different forms, such as Pilsner or Helles.

We try never to have the same beer on twice. The style of beer is shown to the left of the listing, or ask our bar team if you want any help in finding one that best suits your tastes. The board photo will have be superseded with new choices shortly after it was taken, so keep checking it!

We have a wide selection of draught ciders, always shown on the board adjacent to the beers. The current selection is listed from the live link at the top of the page, or from here.

We offer a selection of wines to suit a variety of tastes, available by the bottle (700ml) or in 250ml, 175ml, and 125ml glasses. Our sparkling wines are served in 200ml bottles.

All our wines are locally supplied & selected by Market Square Food & Wine in East Grinstead. Note out new Guest Red - a new feature - which we hope you will like.

We stock a wide range of artisan gins, rums, vodkas, brandies, and other specialist spirits, with a focus on local small Sussex producers over national brands.

We showcase spirits from Three Old Birds in East Grinstead, and from Harley House in Seaford, both Sussex.

• Don't Miss enGin Night: Join us every Friday for our special "enGin night" and get a free Luscombe mixer with every large gin.

You are welcome to browse the cans displayed on our shelf. 

We are happy to serve them to you perfectly chilled straight from our cool room. 

For those wishing to have low/no alcohol, we have a wide selection of cans to choose from.

We also offer a wide variety of soft drinks.

What we stock can vary over time. Our producers currently include Fentimans (Northumberland), Folkington's (East Sussex), Dalston's (Greater London), Luscombe (Devon), Glen Affric (Merseyside) & Soda Folk (Northamptonshire).

Our selection offers a choice of sugar-free & no added sugar drinks.

Wherever we can practically do so, we use small producers.

We hold a selection of gluten free drinks across our ranges.

Want to stay in but with quality drinks? 

We offer a takeout service for Cask, keg & ciders, and also packs of cans & bottles you won't normally see in outlets.

Cask, keg and ciders are sold in 2 and 4 pints. Any cask or cider on our "Now Pouring at the Engine Room" pages can be taken out. We supply free plastic containers with sealed lids, or customers can bring their own container. As we stock an ever changing list of both beers and ciders we cannot guarantee availability particularly later in the day.

There is a 10% discount on the price of draft beer and cider.

We can provide a 4 pint growler for an additional £3 when purchased with 4 pints.

For keg beers we offer a glass 16oz growler which is better suited to handle the pressures of keg beers and lagers. These are sold at £10 when filled. Contents are charged at 3 and a third pints with 10% discount for takeout.

To go with your drinks we have a wide range of snacks. Currently we offer varying crisps, peanuts, mini cheddars, pork scratchings & charcuterie. Our charcuterie selection includes venison, chorizo, hellfire, beef, pork & pepperoni.

Sadly we do not have a restaurant - we are a small cellar bar. But you are welcome to bring a takeaway in or have it delivered, as long as you are buying some drinks from us & respect others in the pub.
